HOW TO OPEN A BITCOIN WALLET IN NIGERIA

Just like the normal wallets that are use store money. The Bitcoin digital wallet allows us store our digital money and even do more. With our bitcoin wallet we can send and receive bitcoin.

In this article, we will show you how to open a Bitcoin wallet and how to send and receive Bitcoin with it.

STEPS:

  1. If you do not have a valid email address create one.

  2. Open blockchain.info in your browser, click on “Wallet” and check to see where you have “Create your wallet” click to create. A form comes up, fill the form accordingly then click “Summit”. A mail will be sent to your email address to confirm your new blockchain account. Return to blockchain and login with you wallet ID and password. Note your wallet ID is included in the mail sent to you.

  3. Now you are logged in, take some time to familiarize with the interface. You should see an icon that says “Request”, click on it then you will see your blockchain receive address. This is the address you wilL use in receiving bitcoin. In case you want to buy Bitcoin you just send only the address to the seller or sender.

  4. Sending of Bitcoin is equally as easy as receiving. All you have to do is click on the “Send” icon, a form comes out just fill it according inserting the receiver’s address where it should be.

Also note: Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so you should be careful before making sending and avoid being scammed. No financial institution or regulator regulates how Bitcoin is being used so there is no body to complain to if anything goes wrong.
